ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
Reduce energy demand | Energy demand reduction behaviour change campaign for energy users is in place. Although reductions have been achieved, it seems to be only moderate in the uptake by stakeholders. |

Increase renewable energy use | We have been unsuccessful in increasing renewable energy use as our generator suppliers are unwilling to switch fuels. More engagement is needed or more research into alternative suppliers to be undertaken. |

Reduce waste volume | Waste volume has reduced marginally
INCLUSIVITY | ||||||
Stakeholder Consultation | Our procedure for identifying stakeholders is set up to ensure their involvement in identifying issues and addressing their needs and expectations. This procedure has been embraced wholeheartedly by our event management team and the level of ‘buy in’ by community groups and local governmental departments has dramatically increased from previous years. Evidence of this is the amount of ‘in kind’ support the council now provides the event, and the drastic increase in volunteers sourced from local community groups. |

Access for disadvantaged groups | We have identified that low income and single parent families have difficulty enjoying our event as there is a substantial ticket price and our family ticket was based on two adults. We have worked hard to create a programme whereby a new level of tickets are available, for those on government benefits, or are single parents. As these ticket packages are traceable, we have seen through this and through at-event observation, that these groups are now enjoying the event more than ever before. | X |
