LEED
LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally-recognized green building certification system. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.

NABERS
National Australian Built Environment Rating System – is a national initiative managed by the Department of Environment and Climate Change and Water. It is a performance-based rating system measuring the environmental sustainability of building designs and how well operational impacts on the environment are managed. NABERS measures the energy and water consumption of hotels and rates their efficiency on a scale on one to five stars, with one being the lowest and five being best practice. The Green Globe certification is a premier global certification label for the sustainable management and operations of travel and tourism businesses. The standard is based on such agreements as Agenda 21 and ISO 14001 which covers areas of sustainable management, social economic equity, cultural heritage and environmental health.

Green Hotels Global
The online source of information on the environmental performance of hotels worldwide. Standardized metrics and qualitative data on participating hotel properties are available free of charge to meeting/event planners and corporate travel professionals.
