The Triple Bottom Line
Widening the scope of impacts to the broader tenants of sustainability we must look beyond environmental impacts. The sustainability triad includes a responsibility to all three;
- Economic
- Social
- Environmental
By addressing social and economic impacts events can both protect and support the communities in which the event is held. Through sustainable procurement and operational decisions they can support people, products and processes whose success will further economically support and protect communities and environment.
